**Under Construction RP idea (please leave comments etc)** Bad Bad Day
This whole idea is under construction, so please leave comments on it and advice, help me build it 
When it is finished, a summary/sign up thread will be created here (it is a nice empty section for it
)
The premiss is based on the film "Despicable Me" If you have not yet seen this film, why on earth are you reading a forum? Go forth and watch it! That is a command! (it is a great film!)
In this RP you all play independently and against each other in a cartoonish sort of way, or you can work together, betray each other, whatever you want. Your aim is to commit the popularly acclaimed "Crime of the Century!"
You are a supervillian. And in good old fashioned super villain tradition your goal is to make lots of money from stealing things and ransoming them back. In this case, famous buildings/artifacts or monuments. Of course, this isnt the old days. Running evil schemes costs money, and your only course other than super villaining is The Bank of Evil.
Just to ass another headache to that migraine of evil your character suffers from, there are always heroes, spies, secret agents and the like trying to stop you.
Anyway, to make this easier to construct, I will split this into sections.

1. Your Character
Your character represents you in the world of this RP. You all know how this works.
This is a basic of all RPs. The Character Template.
Name: (make it a good one, one which when screamed by a thwarted hero will only add to your reputation!)
Base location: (island bases are fun but expensive, remember you are on a budget. Even super villains were hit by the economic crisis)
Appearance: (note: a kilt is never suitable villain attire)
Personality:
Logo: (a Symbol to make a government tremble in fear!)
Theme: (This isnt music, this is the theme that all your nefarious things have in common. Are all your vehicles, minions, guns and gadgets sleek and white? Are you more the polluting black smoke and shiny steel kind of baddie? This makes it instantly recognisable which villainous villain is doing the villainy!)
2. Your Lair
Your lair is your secret fortress, from here you plot and plan, order the minions and order your groceries. Your lair is also your home remember.
You can use your budget to buy many upgrades for your lair, these surprises will not be told to the other players but rather kept hidden by an impartial person. You may then activate any sudden surprise to foil the plans of an enemy should they attack your lair, or use them to gain advantage some other way. Lairs come pre-equipped with Minion barracks, Basic Laboratory, Vaults and Prisons.
Upgrade list will be invented at a later date. Suggestions welcome.
3. Your Minions
-Minions

-Losing your minions
-Creation Templates
Your minions are the instruments of your will. No self respecting evil super villain is without an army of underlings to do all the work for them. What is too dangerous or too menial for your character to do him/herself, is definitely a task for the minions. They tirelessly carry out the tasks of maintaining your lair, vehicles, guarding your prisoners and any missions you may have for them.
Unfortunately, as all villains know, minions are incompetent. Missions carried out solely by minions have a high chance of failure, and whilst equipping them with the latest in evil gadgetry and giving them the best in evil training can help, trusting them to do their job flawlessly is the mark of an amateur.
Through the application of money you can buy several upgrades for minions, increasing their chance of success and decreasing their chance of rebellion.
Through the application of money and a more caring outlook than that which characterises most villains you can also have your Evil Genius equip your minions with fantastic technology for them to use/misuse.
Which brings us on to... The Evil Genius.
This is a specialised minion, often supported by a team of similarly clever minions (a very rare breed) This underling creates all the wacky, weird and wonderful inventions that are almost a prerequisite for true villainy. The Freeze rays, the salmon-seeking missiles, the pot noodle that actually tastes nice, these are all creations of Evil Geniuses. Take care of this minion, you only have one.
Which brings us to the last section of minions.
What to do when your evil army is wiped out.
Occasionally it may be that your minions are all disposed of, possibly even by something YOU did. Replacing a standard minion is easy, you just go down to the local Evil Job Centre and hire a few hundred new ones. However, if you have to replace your minion army you will lose any training or equipment that your previous legion had. Evil Geniuses can also be replaced here, although since they are new to your style they will never be as good as your first Genius.

Vehicles
To go out and steal world monuments, not to mention just for travelling around in style, you need a vehicle. Whether it is powered by bananas or by plutonium, it can only travel in one of the following:
Space
Land
Underground
On and Under water.
Air
You may have up to 2 vehicles as your maniacal plans starts off. Each can only traverse one of the above categories. This is important because having a vehicle able to reach your lair is a must. Also being able to get at opponent's lairs is a good idea, and some monuments wont be accessible without specialised travel (e.g. The Lunar Lander, The Titanic etc)
As the game proceeds you can purchase additional vehicles as well as upgrade your starting ones.
Vehicle Creation Template:

Description:
Category of travel: (e.g. air, land, space etc)
Weaponry: (up to 2 weapons. E.g. Laser gun and missile pod)
Gadgetry: (up to 3 gadgets. E.g. Cloaking device, Grabbing claw (to steal things with, duh) and remote control drone)
Engine class: (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. 1 is slowest, 5 is quickest. A vehicle can only engage opponents who are slower or of equal speed)
Each weapon or gadget costs an additional £1,000,000. Each upgrade of engine from class 1 costs £1,000,000. Your starting vehicles are free except for these costs. Each vehicle you purchase in the RP will cost £10,000,000
Any vehicle can have up to 2 modifications from the list below. Each modification costs money from your budget.
Additional Weapon space (lets you have another weapon) - £1,000,000
Travel Specialisation (access a 2nd travel category such as space or air) £1,000,000
Superfast engine (increases engine class by 1)- £
Additional Gadget space (lets you have another gadget) - £1,000,000
Equipment
You are not new to the game of villainy. You have been practising for a while and as such start off with some equipment of your own which you do not need to buy or have your evil genius create. You may have up to 3 items at the start of the RP. They can be weapons, gadgets or any other small personal things usable by your character. Your imagination is the limit here, but try not to go too overboard. A ray gun that is both a weapon, a shrink ray, a tractor beam and a coffee maker is overboard. as a general rule, each item can do 1 thing.
