Can God create a bigger rock than he can roll?

According to christian doctrine, "G"od is limitless in all aspects.
Not so sure about Allah.
I should expect jews to believe the same as the christians.
As for the pastafarians, FSM Himself is limitless and can move any meatball, no matter how large it is. Ra'men.

It is a nonsensical question, but one I've heard many times, lol. Including when I've asked others this, just to poke fun at their brains. Smile

Perhaps God could, if God wanted to-- But clearly, as there are such laws of logic in this universe, and those laws fundamentally should be attributed to God, why would God want to? I should think, perhaps, that God is bound only by the rules that God wishes not to break. Wishes-- Meaning, that God could break those rules if God wanted to, and in doing so, make our little human brains explode with confusion.

The problem is,
God can do anything.
So he could roll any rock, but he also could create a rock as big as he wanted to.

So i can honestly answer that question ._.

But if God can do anything, how could God create a rock that God would be UNABLE to roll?

Your answer doesn't quite work with such a question, as I see it.

Yup, the question itself is nonsensical. Well, I guess that's if you look at God from a Christian standpoint. Because if you look at it that way, God is limitless, and therefore there is no rock He cannot roll.
XD
Atheist standpoint-- God's not real. lol X3
Judaism--probably the same as Christian.
Islam--ditto the above.

He can't create a rock He cannon roll just as much as He can't lie... If He IS omnipotent/All powerful as I know He is then there is no such thing as "too big" as we are trying to view it in a physical context but if you look around you can't really see God floating around in the physical world so He must be in Heaven/The Spiritual Realm. So seeing he created the physical and everything in it. What us humans know as "the universe" is only one of the things her created, and because he created it he holds absolute power over it and can do whatever He wants in it. Also seeing we are bound by our physical world and its concepts and understandings like, we can't think about new colours we can't envision them. Yet God because He is outside the physical world and all its rules could very well create more colours if He wished. Yet we can't even think about those colours. So all that said NO God cannot create a rock He cannot roll because He can roll a rock of infinite size. And seeing infinite is about as big as it goes... (at least for us and our understanding) Then no He can't create a rock bigger then He can roll. He can do all things yes, but seeing He IS truth, He can't lie because that would make Him not Himself. So He can't counter what He's said, or said He will do.

If that even makes sense... >_<

The answer is no. If either part of the question is false the answer is negitive. Wow, buzzkill

If God creates a rock bigger than he can roll, then that rock shall become so large people shall either believe it is God or make it one, thus making the original creator not God, so regardless if they can push it or not, they are not God pushing it.

If God can do anything can he do nothing?
